This notice explains how BENEROUITH & CO MEDIA LTD (Benerouith & Co Media) handles personal data in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect
- From prospective clients: the name, contact details and brief you share with us.
- From clients: the information necessary to deliver and invoice the engagement.
- From this website: nothing automated. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any third-party tracking cookies.
Lawful basis
- Enquiries — performance of a contract you have requested with us, and our legitimate interest in operating the studio.
- Client work — performance of the contract entered into between us, and applicable legal obligations (accounting, tax).
- Marketing — only ever with your explicit opt-in consent, withdrawable at any time.
How we store it
All personal records are stored on encrypted, UK/EU-hosted infrastructure. Access is limited to the people working on your account.
Retention
Enquiries are kept for 24 months from last contact. Client records are kept for the period required by HMRC (currently 6 years from end of tax year), then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to (i) request a copy of your personal data, (ii) correct inaccuracies, (iii) request erasure, (iv) restrict processing, (v) data portability, and (vi) object to processing. We respond within one calendar month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk · 0303 123 1113).
Cookies
We do not use analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies. No cookie banner is required because no non-essential cookies are set.
